We're Here

Yippee..after hours of flying and a layover in Narita, we are finally here. Tired, but so excited to be in the same country as Yu-Lin and only a 2 hour drive from him. Now if we can only get through the next two days trying to enjoy the sights of his birthcountry....We had a very smooth flight, the service on United airlines was excellent...and they actually serve food for free and have individual screens behind each seat unlike on the domestic flights. Glad we flew economy plus (on miles can you believe it), but note to self: next time buy the economy plus ticket and upgrade to business..well worth it. Once we landed in Taipei, it took us only 5 minutes to get through immigration and then 20 minutes to get our luggage. Once we got our luggage out we went and saw that great JOH sign with Fion behind it. So happy to see her. She is such a sweetie and we know we will have a fabulous time with her in Taiwan.
