Happy New Year

2007 was the best year we ever had and one that I don't think we will ever be able to top. Afterall, it was during 2007 that our dreams of becoming parents became a reality. Yu-Lin has been the greatest gift that God ever gave us and we thank him every day for choosing us to be his parents. We welcome 2008 with open arms and look forward to sharing our lives with Yu-Lin.

In Hawaii, New Year's is a very big deal full of fireworks at every house. This year was no different except for the fact that we stayed home because we thought the loud fireworks at our friends and families homes would be tooo loud for his little ears. But next year, we will be back to our usual routine so Yu-Lin can learn the traditions here about popping lots of fireworks to chase away the bad spirits and to welcome a new year.

Yu-Lin spent the evening with his grandparents and showing off his new skills of pushing his toy while standing up. Eeeek. I really need to babyproof this house!
