A couple of weeks ago, Yu-Lin attended his first 1st birthday party for his playmate E who was adopted from Korea. We met E's family at our parenting class we were required to take and instantly became friends and realized that Derek and L actually went to high school together. Hawaii is just way too small. We had such a great time at the party and for all you Hawaii folks, you know what a big deal 1st birthday parties are.
Here's a picture of Auntie K, our parenting teacher. She was awesome and we learned so much about what type of parents we want to be. We wish she wasn't moving to the mainland because we may need a refresher course when Yu-Lin hits those terrible twos.
And I must say, L and P really raised the bar on this one! Take a look at the loot he got in his goodie bag!!! Oh my.

Oh yes we are entering the terrible (I mean terrific) two's & its not so pretty. LOL! I read some where that your children our 3 times worse then what you were so all I can say to that is Lord Help! Hahaha!!!
