Happy Easter

Sorry for the delay in posting these pictures. It seems like parenthood has also caused us to be sick quite often...boo. I had a very bad ear infection that had me wiped out. I mustered up energy to celebrate Yu-Lin's first Easter, but it was not easy. I'm thankfully on the road to recovery after 2 rounds of antibiotics. Keeping my fingers crossed that we all stay well!

We celebrated Easter for several days. We first had a potluck at Yu-Lin's daycare on Thursday. That was very nice to be able to talk to other parents who we usually see in passing. When we arrived Yu-Lin was fast asleep on his cot (yep, they are getting him ready for the 1 year old room and took away his crib).

When he woke up, he was a bit groggy, but happy to see us. I think he was not sure what all the commotion was, but was content hanging with us.

On Saturday, our dear friends A, R, and K, invited us over to their house for a Easter party. There was about 30 of us and it was great. This was Yu-Lin's first Easter egg hunt. He had a great time, but he clearly did not understand what he was suppose to do.

On Sunday, we went to church and then to grandma's house for another Easter celebration. Yu-Lin seemed to understand a little more the whole egg hunt thing.

On Monday, Yu-Lin finally had a chance to open all his Easter baskets/bags. Boy, he got a lot of stuff. The wagon basket was from us. I got that idea from Kobi's mamma. What a cool idea. Yu-Lin had a blast opening his basket.

Happy belated Easter! I am glad you are all feeling better and I hope you all stay well - fingers crossed here too! Yu-lin looks adorable with his hair to the side like that -- I just love the photo where he is examining the orange egg! I wish I had know about that Easter wagon -- I would have totally gotten one for Alex too!

That wagon idea was awesome! We'll have to do something like that next year. I hope you can hear with both ears now and that the 2nd course of antibiotics worked. I still have a cough, but doctor said that it will probably linger for a few months. Great...
