Our little climber

Yu-Lin is such a boy. He isn't quite walking yet, but instead loves climbing and standing on things. We have been searching for an entertainment center for our t.v. without much success so instead we bought a gate to go around the t.v. to keep Yu-Lin away from it. Well tonight, I actually caught him in his climbing/standing routine.

Maybe if I do this quitely, mommie won't see me.

Now how can I get over this thing. This toy I'm standing on just isn't high enough.

Hmmmm...I'll figure this out, but for now, I love baby einstein.

Son, what are you doing over there? Ah shucks...I'm busted.

Oh mommie.....I was just having fun. How can I resist a smile with teeth?

that is so funny! what a great idea for keeping little hands off your tv! regarding the airplane, in one way i think it was great to try to arrange our flights for matthew's normal sleeping times (it worked well for the evening flight but not for the morning one). he slept almost the entire flights in the evening. other things i took with were paper and 2 crayons, as well as a bunch of stickers (he loves to put stickers on paper). new books. a little car that has a small screwdriver that inserts in a hole & you turn it to make the car go. matthew spent a lot of time just sticking the screwdriver in and out of the hole! some little play people. SNACKS!!!! make sur eyou take a blow up pillow to put under your arm while holding him when he sleeps. and, of course, an apple to eat while waiting to board the plane!

I am so jealous of "Today we went swimming" or "just another day at the beach!" We're going to have to load Reed onto a plane and head to Hawaii! Here it just rains and snows lately!

What an adorable little monkey! He is too cute with his busted smile! Mark and I were just looking at Yu-Lin's pics the other day and saying it's amazing how he has grown up so much since we saw him in Taiwan. Good luck at keeping the TV safe. I think we're gonna need to buy a gate for every single thing in our house! =)
