Readoption Complete

We are so excited that Yu-Lin's readoption in Hawaii was completed last week!! Yippee. Yu-Lin was already legally adopted in Taiwan, but in order for us to get a U.S. birth certificate we needed to readopt him here. Fortunately, Hawaii doesn't require a hearing so all we needed to do is file some paperwork and wait for the call. Happy Happy day...

Yay!!! Congratulations on another exciting milestone! We've been so bad--we haven't even started the process. Yikes, better get moving!

Congrats! We are going to court this week! Funny how we are still on the same timeline! I am still holding out hope that we will see you in Taiwan for the little sisters (Derek, hint hint!)

Woohoooo! Wonderful milestone! It feels good, doesn't it? We just got Alex's certificate of foreign birth in the mail last week -- his readoption was complete Feb. 22! Now we just need to reapply for his certificate of citizenship -- I will hate to give up the old one (which I am assuming you have to do, but I don't know).

Congrats! It's nice to be able to put all the papers in a file and finally stuff it in the filing cabinet.

Yay!! Congratulations to Yu-Lin and his mommy and daddy. I have the paperwork on my to do list for the next two weekends. Hope you don't mind if you get a call sometime in the week, as I look for your expertise as usual.
