It's a Celebration
As folks from Hawaii know, 1st birthday's are a BIG deal. It has something to do with the Asian influence in Hawaii about making it to your first birthday and to wish much blessings for future birthdays. I naturally can't pass up an opportunity to throw a party : ). Here are some pictures of the CELEBRATION from Saturday May 10th. Yu-Lin was cranky in the beginning since I did wake him from his morning nap and then he was bombarded by lots and lots of family and friends. Towards the end of the party, he was a champ and slept like a baby that night. We all had a great time and are blessed with wonderful family and friends that celebrated with us!!!!

OMG, this isn't a celebration, this was a full on EVENT. You guys are amazing!!!!! I don't think in all my 39 years, I've had a party like that thrown for me. Can ya believe how fast the time went!!!! Oh, how can you already be one, Yu Lin? You can come live with us and have everyday fun, if you plan and throw all the parties.

That music was perfect! Happy Birthday again little man! I think mama needs a spa day just to redeem her energy after planning such an event! LOL! The pictures are great and it looked like lots and LOTS of fun! :)
