Yes, it has been almost a whole year since I last posted and definitely longer than that with pictures of the boys. While I had every intention to update the blog after January, many things happened in the year that prevented me from doing so. Without going into detail about what happened, I will say only that 2010 was the WORST year of my life with so many deaths in my family. The year brought me to lows that I never thought imaginable! Days, nights, weeks, and months were filled with such sadness and darkness that often I wondered if I ever would be able to see the good in Life. Through my love of GOD and belief in HIM, I have I been able to replace so much of the darkness in my life with some light. If it were not for my two precious boys, I would have never been able to pick myself out of bed every morning with a smile on my face. I am thankful for my family and friends that were so supportive of me this past year, especially my ever loving husband and mom who are definitely my rock and strength in times of weakness. I love you both dearly. And I am also most especially thankful for my beautiful children who truly made my life worth living for this year!
With that, I will say that the boys have really grown up a lot this year in so many ways. We can hardly believe that our first baby is already 3 1/2 and carries on full conversations with us, corrects us when we don't follow the rules we have him follow, and tells us he loves us everyday. He loves everything Cars, Toy Story, Transformer and Bakugan (a boy in every sense of the word). He has mastered his colors, alphabets, shapes, and now can write his name. Oh my. Where did our little taiwan baby go? And then our 2nd baby, well, he never wanted to be a baby from the moment he was born. He started crawling when he was 4 1/2 mos. old and walking when he was 10 months old and was saying his first words by then. He is now 18 mos. old and says well over a 100 words and strings two words together at a time. He absolutely loves his big brother and wants to be just like him. His favorite toys are Woody, Buzz, Transformer, and Bakugan. Oh, he also loves wearing his new toy story backpack he got for Christmas because, of course, he can now look like his big brother going to school. Watching the two boys together is so heart warming. I know my dreams for them to be the best of friends will come true if they continue on the path they are on.
It is my intention to keep the blog updated in the coming year and put 2010 behind me with hopes and dreams for a better 2011. I wish all of you a Happy New Year filled with much blessing.
And as a final tribute to my loved ones I lost this year, I love you so very much, I think of you daily, miss you more than words can describe, and look forward to the day when I will be reunited with you in Heaven. Until then, this is my prayer:
