Aloha Taiwan....see you soon!

Yu-Lin's first airplane ride. He did really well considering and of course he ate : )

As you all know, Derek is not one to spend money...he claims that all chinese folks are this way. But after much effort, he caved in and agreed to spring for one day passes at the Red Carpet Room in Narita. After we bought the passes, he realized it was money well spent. They had a family room complete with a crib, tv, kid movies, and toys. We were in heaven. And they also had a shower so we could refreshen up too. If anyone has a long layover in Narita, I would highly recommend the red carpet room if you are flying United.

Yu-Lin was happy to take a nap in the crib

Welcome to America....introducing Hawaii's newest resident Yu-Lin!!!!

A few of our family members came to greet Yu-Lin. We wanted to keep the introductions light since Yu-Lin seems to be a deep soul and need time to adjust to a lot of people. He did great meeting his new family and we can't wait for him to meet the rest of the Ohana.

Welcome Home, Kristie, Derek and Yu-Lin!! The Red Carpet room looks fantastic -- I wonder if they have something like that in San Francisco since that is where we will have our long layover. It must feel good to be back home among your family -- I can tell Yu-Lin is going to be well-loved by all!
