More Milestones

During our 3rd week home, Yu-Lin has experienced a lot more milestones.

He has now mastered rolling over front to back and back to front. He still refuses to crawl, but instead rolls over to get to the object he wants.

He has also started sitting up. At first he was a little wobbly, but after a week he is a champ.

Tries to feed himself when I am feeding him. Well, I wouldn't call this feeding himself, but instead feeding the floor, his clothes, and bib. He now eats rice cereal, peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, green beans (though he doesn't care for this), garden vegetables, apples, and bananas. Wow.

Yu-Lin also babbles a lot. He typically does it when he wakes up in the morning and then throughout the day. It is soo cute to hear and makes me a little sad to know that my little boy is growing so quickly.

And one of his most favorite things to do is hold things in his hand and study them. Even when he doesn't have things in his hand, he loves watching his hands move. Hmmmm.

Yu-Lin also started holding his bottle. He is not consistent with it as he much rather rub my arm or face while eating, but hopefully he will find more interest holding his bottle and relieve me of that duty.

Whew..that was a busy 3rd week home. It is amazing how quickly babies grow.

It truly is amazing isnt' it? I couldn't believe that within a week or so, Alex went from so wobbly he could barely sit up to sitting on his own for several minutes. How cute that he rubs your arm or face while he eats!!
