This year was the best Thanksgiving we have ever had. Never could we have imagined how our lives would change in one year. Our lives for quite some time revolved around us and then our dogs...but now we have a greater purpose in our lives and thank God for this wonderful blessing he has given us. At times we do not feel worthy of this precious gift, but we know that it was all in HIS plan. Even though it has been challenging adjusting our lives to include a child, the sleep deprivation and frustration that comes from caring for an infant, we would not change it for the world. So this Thanksgiving we are thankful for good health, a wonderful marriage, a beautiful child, and all our family and friends. We also thank Yu-Lin's birthmother for making a difficult decision to give her son up for adoption in hope for a better life. We will never ever be able to thank her enough for this ultimate show of love.
We also celebrated a special day on Thanksgiving...one month anniversary for Yu-Lin joining our family. We can't believe it has already been a month since we picked up Yu-Lin in Feng Yuan and we became a family of three. Wow how time flies.

Oh wow, Yu-lin is getting so big already. I love all his faces - even the pretend cranky ones, but especially his smiles! I am so glad that you have so much to be thankful for. I love the way adoption has prepared us to be grateful even in the face of stinky diapers and sleepless nights!
Oh yep! I have seen that face (pictured in 1st photo) several times by a certain you know who. LOL! Happy Thanksgiving (a little late!) & YES we all do have some amazing things to be thankful for this year (& forever!)
