Today Yu-Lin had his first visit with Santa Claus. I was so proud of myself to get him dressed and feed him just to have him fall asleep. And on a typical gymboree day, he napped for one hour (miracles do happen!). I was happy that he slept that long because he typically only naps for about 15 or 30 minutes, but I was worried that by the time he woke up Santa would be on break and then I would have to come back or risk him sweating all over his clothes. Thankfully it all turned out.
I was proud of him that he didn't cry when he saw Santa as I know most kids do. I'm not sure if he didn't cry because he was in a daze when he woke up from his nap or that he didn't care. Needless to say, I was happy, but wished he had cracked one of his famous smiles. Oh well..can't win them all.

Oh my gosh, with all his hair and his little vest, Yu-lin looks so grown up!! SO adorable!!! You guys have a great looking Santa too!
Isn't it funny how naptimes and mealtimes can screw up the whole schedule, especially if they come at unexpected times -- I am still figuring out how to work it out and go with the flow.
Glad to see that the "Santa Experience" was a good one! Those can go either way.
Way 1~ You actually get a picture!
Way 2~ You can never return to the mall b/c you removed a kicking & screaming child while onlookers say "Oh now someone needs to discipline that kid!" LOL!
Yep... you can guess that Mr Kobi's experience was option number 2! LOL!
He have such a cute little face!
I thought the same thing...look at his hair, it's gorgeous.
It's a cute picture, at least he didn't pee all over Santa's lap...
Hi! I couldn't find anyway to e-mail you on your blog so I thought I would just write a post. My husband and I are very seriously considering an adoption from Taiwan (we have 2 bio kids and adoped our third from Guat. last year). I stumbled upon your blog off of a Taiwan adoption blog list. Just curious how you liked Journeys of the Heart and if you could give me any info regarding your process with them? We are looking into JOH (the foster care program) and one other agency. You can e-mail me privately at bjcalfee@hotmail.com. I am really hoping to get some recommendations from people who have used JOH.
Thanks so much,
Jenny Calfee
