Yep, I haven't done this type of post in a while, so here goes. Yu-Lin turned 20 months last Sunday and we have to say that within a month, his vocabulary has just ballooned with new words everyday. We often get amazed at the things he says and has just the cutest little voice. Of course, he is independent as ever and refuses help unless he asks you for help. His favorite objects of obsession at the moment are trains and cars! He can not get enough of them and takes them to sleep with him every night. And everyday when he leaves the house, he tells his trains "bye bye choo choo" and tells his sisters "bye bye doggie" Ahhhhh...so cute. Up on the horizon for our big boy in the near future is moving to a big boy bed and beginning potty training. Wish us luck. I am soo sad that our little boy is no longer a little boy. He has just grown up too fast and I'm really not ready for this. As much as I try really hard to give him his independence (while Daddy continues to baby him), I really do miss my little
baby Yu-Lin!!!
Here's some pictures of us hanging out in Waikiki with our friends from Chicago on Sunday. Yu-Lin had so much fun playing in the water and hanging with his friends.
Woo hoo...finally at the beach...ok Daddy now follow me, right leg first

Dad, it isn't cold really

This is fun

Let's go over there Dad

This water feels good...ok, son we gotta go up to the room to get something to eat

Time to eat D...want manapua

Alright time to go home son..say bye bye

Maybe I just got lucky, but switching Holly hasn't been a big deal. I think because it was just a matter of switching a side rail, and not putting her into an entirely new bed. If you have that type of convertible crib/toddler bed, it should be easy. Just make the switch on a Saturday am so you aren't sleep deprived during the week if things don't go super great. :)
Congratulations on your great news! Having 2 so close in age hopefully means the kids will be great friends!
Can you believe our boys will be 2 in just a few short months. Sob! Where did those little roly-poly babes go?!? We are going to have to make the switch too right around the same time I think. I want to delay it as long as possible...
