Markets, Garden, and Temples

Today we had a busy day and the time zone change is finally catching up with us. We had another great day taking in all the sights and sounds of this wonderful country. We first went to the Handicraft/Flower Market/Jade Market which is only open on the weekends and is set up underneath a bridge that typically is parking stalls during the weekday. It is a chance for local businesses, artist, and craftsman to showcase their art and craft work. They even sold dogs...which we spent some time playing with...you know how much we both love dogs.

We really wanted to bring this cutie home with us, but thought our girls really wouldn't like it!

Taipei Botanical Garden
Lotus plants.

We next went to Longshan Temple where it turned out to be a celebration day because it was packed with people. We are so fortunate to experience this because we understand it normally isn't like this.

And finally, we caught 4 on a scooter. Take a good look at this picture and you will see a baby between the two adults (you can see the feet).

And another scooter shot.
